CREATE - reflected on the way my senior GEO students prefer pencil and paper creations over their digital tools - but I can learn how to teach them more possibilities.
I practiced some new skills with drawings and slides which I can immediately use to improve my presentations so that's a leap forward. It'll be great for planning documents, IEP schemes etc.
Alos I think I can make use of playlists in my You Tube Channel, with ready access for students to GEO clips etc. Thanks everyone for a great day!

ReplyDeleteYes I agree there was lots of learning today. It was fun looking at slides and how to make animations.It's always good when we see how we can use the things we have learnt with our students.

ReplyDeleteThere are so many opportunities online to extend students creativity which really helps them move up to those higher order thinking skills within Blooms Taxonomy (2001). I think the main thing with learning any new skill is to keep applying them and that's particularly pertinent with anything digital.
Have a look at the graphic organisers we shared on the day, I think you'll find there a lots of templates there that will be really useful in any topic.
